β€‹βš οΈ Note: Changing the Pass Type later may remove inventory, choose carefully!

Check-ins are how passholders earn points. Make sure the method aligns with the level of engagement you want at each location.

    • Device GPS β†’ User must be within a set distance of the location.
Good for: ease of use, flexibility, no merchant involvement.

    • QR Code β†’ User scans a QR code on-site.
Good for: verifying presence, engaging businesses, requiring collateral.

    • Venue PIN Number β†’ User enters a unique 4-digit PIN from the location.
Good for: requiring merchant interaction, areas with poor cell service.

    • Device GPS or PIN β†’ User uses GPS by default but can enter a PIN if GPS fails.
Good for: flexibility and locations with poor reception.
