Create "Activities" For Your Places

Create the "Activities" on your passes.

Written by J.G. Schirf

💡 Every “Activity” must be tied to a “Place” where it happens. Click HERE to learn how to create “Places” in your network.

Activities help users discover local attractions, experiences, and hidden gems—ensuring something for everyone—while strengthening partnerships, encouraging repeat visits, and supporting local economic growth.

Getting passholders out into your community is Bandwango’s top priority. That’s why choosing the right activities is a key first step in building a pass. Each pass type includes predefined “Activities” that participating “Places” must offer to join the program.

Accessing The Activities Manager

  1. Click “Activities” in the Pass Builder menu.

You can now begin creating Activities for the Places in your network.

Product Creation (Example: Coupon)

We’ll walk through creating a Coupon (used in Free Savings or Gamified passes). While details may vary by type, most fields are the same.

  1. Select the Place for this Activity and choose a Coupon Type that best matches the offer

If no exact match exists, choose the closest template.
Example: For “Complimentary Admission for 2,” select “Free ___” and name it “Free Admission for 2.”

  1. Enter the Item/Service

  2. Add any details or restrictions

  3. Set Repeat Use if applicable (Note: Customers will be able to redeem this coupon at the frequency set. Please ensure participating venues are aligned with this usage.)

  4. Choose Redemption Method (in-person, online, or phone)

  5. Add clear Redemption Instructions

  6. Click “Save” to preview your Activity.

You’ve now created an Activity for a Place in your network!
