Navigating the New Settings Page in Bandwango

Bandwango Experience Builder has a new look! Let's walk through your new settings pages.

How to access your new settings page:

  1. Click your Organization Name at the bottom left of the screen.

  2. Click Settings.


โš™๏ธ Organization Settings

The updated Settings experience in Bandwango gives you full control over your organization, branding, policies, and user preferences all in one central place. Hereโ€™s a guide to what youโ€™ll find in each section of the redesigned Settings area.

๐Ÿงพ General

Update your organization's core identity and contact information:

  • Organization Details

    • Organization Name: Your organization name as it appears across your Passes and Bandwango Experience Builder

    • Legal Name: Used for invoices and tax documentation.

    • Website: Your public-facing URL.

  • Contact Info

    • Phone Number: How our team will get in contact with you regarding your Bandwango passes.

    • Location: Physical business address, used for billing and tax purposes, including:

      • Address

      • City

      • State / Province

      • Zip / Postal Code

      • Country


๐ŸŽจ Customization

Personalize your pass experience and brand identity:

  • Add to Homescreen Icon: The icon displayed when users save your pass to their device's home screen.

  • Primary Color: Sets the dominant color used across the pass interface.

  • Metrics:

    • Distance Units: Choose the default distance metric displayed between miles or kilometers.

      • NOTE: Users will generally see the metric associated with their browser language (e.g. American English to Miles, Canadian French to Kilometers).

    • Timezone: Set the default time zone for your organization.

      • NOTE: All messages, reports, and displayed times on the mobile pass are relative to this timezone.

  • Images: If images are not uploaded default textures will be used. Preview your pass to view these placeholders.

    • Horizontal Logo: Used mainly as the mobile pass header logo.

    • Email Banner: This image is used in the header of emails sent by Bandwango on your behalf.

    • Login/Experiences Background: Seen in the mobile pass login and experience pages.

    • Favicon: Displayed on the passholder's browser tab when they are interacting with a pass landing page.


๐Ÿ’ต Monetization

Define your financial and tax-related configurations:

  • Currency: Default currency for reporting and pass sales

  • Sales Tax: Apply appropriate sales tax rates


๐ŸŒ Domains

Customize the URL your pass is accessed online:

  • Custom Domain: Set or update the branded domain or subdomain where your pass is hosted
    Example: explore.yourtown.com instead of yourtown.bandwango.com

Domains are key for branding consistency and can also impact marketing, analytics, and SEO.


๐Ÿ‘ฅ Team

Invite and manage the people who help administer your passes:

  • Invite Team Members: Grant team access to manage your organization and pass features


๐Ÿ“œ Policies

Link or update your legal documentation directly into the pass experience:

  • Terms & Conditions

  • Privacy Policy

  • Refund Policy

These appear to end users during sign-up and purchase flows.


๐Ÿ‘ค User Account Settings

Each individual user can manage their own profile and login info:

  • Avatar: Upload a user photo

  • Name: User's name

  • Phone: User's contact phone number

  • Login Email

  • Password: Update password for account access
