Bingo Pass: Quick Setup Guide

The fast, at-a-glance version of building a Bingo Pass

Written by J.G. Schirf

Below is the abridged version of building a Bingo Pass. For the full walkthrough with screenshots and FAQ, see Create Your First Bingo Pass.

💡 Quick Tip - Build your Places, Activities, and Prizes in the Global Menu first. Then the build is just connecting content you already have.

1. Create the pass

Passes → + Create a Pass → Bingo Pass → Next. Name it and pick a default check-in method, then Create. (Pass type can't be changed later.)

2. Add activities

Add enough check-ins to fill your grid: 9 (3×3), 16 (4×4), or 25 (5×5) — one fewer if you use the free center square. Coupons are optional and don't mark squares.

3. Configure the Bingo Card

Set grid size, the free center square, your card header label (up to 10 characters), and Square Mode — Places (one venue per square) or Categories (one theme per square). Save before moving on.

4. Assign categories (Categories mode only)

Assign every Place to at least one category. If you chose Name + Image, upload each category's square image.

5. Add prizes

Assign a First Bingo prize, then use Add Reward for later bingos (up to 12 on a 5×5), plus a Blackout prize. Each slot needs a different prize.

6. Finish and publish

Complete Customization, Settings, FAQ, and Checkout, hit Save Changes on each, then Publish.

⚠️ Three things builders miss — You can't publish (or preview) until the card is fully configured. In Categories mode, every Place must be assigned. Bingo prizes are awarded in sequence — you can't reward only the 1st and 5th.
