Bandwango now allows all partners using Experience Builder to control the Max Redemptions setting on their passes. This feature lets you limit the total number of redemptions available to a passholder, enabling new flexibility in how your passes are structured and sold. Whether you're offering a limited tasting experience or a time-bound attractions pass, Max Redemptions helps you deliver the right experience with clear user expectations—now reinforced by updated mobile pass UI.

🧩 Example Use Cases:

  • Limited Duration Passes: Pair a 3-day pass with a 5-redemption limit. Offer additional versions of the pass valid for more days with unlimited or higher redemption limits.

  • Tasting Passes: Offer a pass with 15 participating breweries but allow customers to redeem tastings at just 3. This creates a sampler experience that can encourage repeat visits or upgrades.

  • Attractions Passes: Include 10 attractions but allow only 4 visits. This promotes customer choice while managing cost and partner participation.

How To: Setup Max Redemptions on your Paid Passes

📚 How It Works:

  • When a number is entered into the Max Redemptions field, that number becomes the total allowable redemptions for the pass. Once the passholder reaches that number, they will no longer be able to check in or redeem additional offers.

  • This feature is available for all paid experience passes created in Experience Builder and can be enabled during pass setup.

  1. Open up the Pass Builder.

  2. Click the ✏️ icon for the paid pass you wish to edit.

  3. In the Pass Builder menu, click Dates.

  4. Scroll to the section labeled Max Redemption.

  5. Enter the number of redemptions allowed on the pass.

  6. Save your changes.
